Rural Women’s Empowerment through their Improved Vocational Skills Development and Enhanced Access to Enterprises Opportunities in Taluka Sewhan District Jamshoro

Hamdam Foundation has signed an agreement with Community Development Program CDP, Planning & Development (P&D) Government of Sindh to undertake skill development project titled ‘Rural Women’s Empowerment  through  their  Improved  Vocational  Skills  Development  and  Enhanced  Access  to Enterprises  Opportunities’  in  Taluka  Sehwan,  District  Jamshoro.  The project was got started immediately  after  the  signing  of  agreement.  A full day staff Orientation  workshop  was organized  to familiarize team members with  deliverables, processes and approaches. Enterprises Development Project

Hamdam Foundation is engaged in Enterprises Development Project with the support of OPP-OCT since last 7 years. This project is supporting the low income poor community to enhance their livelihood through small and home based business. Hamdam Foundation joined this project in November 2007 and throughout this period; it is going successfully and also having many success case studies of this running project.

One Roof Shelter Project

Hamdam Foundation in collaboration with OPP-RTI is starting the 4th phase of One Roof Shelter Project at two villages of Jamshoro District, where 50 beneficiaries will get all one room roofs material. Already Hamdam Foundation proudly completed its three phases in Three Districts Jamshoro, Badin and Thatta where 1613 beneficiaries facilitated with one room roof material.

Enhancing Quality and Access to TVET for Employability

Hamdam Foundation under its umbrella organization Mashall Skill Development Center is running a project entitled Enhancing Quality and Access to TVET for Employability at Aliabad District Jamshoro, Sindh, Pakistan in collaboration with Research and Development Foundation (RDF), funded by Oxfam Novib. Mashal Skill Development Center is trained 60 right holders at its Ali Abad Center, where the third and final batch is preparing to finish their training. Here the rural women and girls got Tailoring and Machine Embroidery Training. Each right holder is awarding with certificate by STEVTA. The training curriculum is approved by STEVTA.

Mangroves Reforestation and Conservation Project

Hamdam Foundation is engaged at southern coast of Arabian sea to implement the "Mangroves Reforestation and Conservation" project supported by UNDP GEF Small Grants Program Pakistan.To carry out community managed reforestation of the mangroves at 1000 acres in Sanhri Creek (coastal areas) of Taluka Kharochan District Thatta.To mobilize and organize communities for the protection and enhancing participatory mangrove resource management in coastal area of the Taluka Kharochan District Thatta.
